This Banko-yaki handmade Kyusu tea pot hails from Mie prefecture in central Japan. A new addition to our catalog, this version features a striking external blue-white glaze. The inside of the pot remains unglazed, our preferred finish for brewing. The flat bottom and large lid make this a tea pot that is as easy to use and clean as it is beautiful. Excellent for high quality Sencha, Kabuse and Houjicha.
